teachfirstOur principal charity

Meridian West is proud to be a supporter of Teach First.

Founded in 2002, Teach First is an education charity working to ensure that no child’s educational success is limited by their socio-economic background.

As one of Teach First’s sponsor organisations, Meridian West pledges a proportion of our profits each year to support the valuable work that Teach First does, to raise educational standards and aspirations in schools in challenging circumstances across England.

In addition to our financial support, members of the Meridian West team also act as coaches to teachers on the Teach First Leadership Development Programme, supporting their personal and professional development. As part of Teach First’s Summer Project offering, teachers on the TeachFirst programme are also offered the opportunity to complete an internship with Meridian West.
