The State of Innovation in Professional Legal Services

Thursday 1 October 2020
12:00 - 13:00

The Professional Law Institute (PLI) is hosting the launch of our new report on “The State of Innovation in Professional Legal Services” by Meridian West director Ben Kent in collaboration with Spiranti and Earlsferry Advisory, and presented with support from the PLI.

Ben has been invited to join a panel of speakers for  the webinar by King’s College London, as part of the Professional Law Institute’s lecture series on The Future of Legal Practice.

Alongside co-author Simon Drane of Earlsferry Advisory, Ben will begin by explaining what their research tells us about the drivers and limits on innovation, the implementation of legal technology, and how firms can benefit from the report’s benchmarking tools.

This will be followed by a Q&A moderated by the PLI’s Chris Howard, featuring additional panellists Tamsin Anatasi Pace (Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer) and Richard Kemp (Kemp IT Law).

Carrying forward many of the themes of the PLI’s successful Future of Legal Practice series, this online session will conclude with details of how you can get hold of a copy of this important report.

Event speakers:

  • Ben Kent Founding Director, Meridian West
  • Tamsin Anatasi-Pace Head of Client Solutions, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer
  • Simon Drane founder of Earlsferry Advisory
