Strategic vision more valued than technical knowledge or project management skills

Meridian West recently researched the views of over 500 senior buyers of professional services as part of its regular Business Buyers Barometer.

In 2021, the strategic vision is considered most value-adding.

  • Nearly a quarter (24%) say strategic vision is the most value-adding skill.
  • This is followed by understanding industry trends and macroeconomic issues at 14%.
  • Technical knowledge places third with 13% saying it is the most value-adding skill or competency.
